International Essential Oils Day!!!




Not only is it HUMP DAY but it is International Essential Oils Day!

International Essential oils Day is July 11th and was created to recognize and highlight the benefits that essential oils provide to humanity. From non toxic fragrances to whole wellness support-the benefits are second to none! This day was founded in 2018 in honor of D. Gary Young founder of Young Living essential oils. 

Essential oils are the lifeblood of plants, To highlight their benefits and keep the essential oil movement alive, people are encouraged to plant a tree, try a new essential oil or share their favorite essential oil with a friend!




We use essential oils everyday in my home, in the office and on the homestead. Their is a peace of mind knowing that every essential ol I use is a chemical we are NOT using. 

From lemon vitality essential oil in my drinking water to frankincense in my skin care routine to lavender in the diffuser after a long day-essential oils are a huge part of my life and one of the greatest joys I have is teaching others how to use and incorporate these oils into their  lives!

We have a growing a community of like minded people from all walks of life that are searching for a more natural lifestyle that supports the "whole" self whom are passionate about living a life of wellness, purpose and abundance. Our tribe is known as Team GTW because we are all about Growth, Transformation and Whole-life wellness. 


I would love to share more with you and I have the PERFECT event coming up this Saturday 7/14/18 at 2 pm at Sarah & Carl Lamanna's farm-Claddagh Farm Alpacas. This is our summer Young Living Rally-where many members of the tribe and those interested in learning more come together to explore and experience all that a Young Living lifestyle has to offer!

Shout out to my fellow Nurses!!

Being a nurse has its ups and downs, good days and bad and some days....even questioning my career choice. After 25 years in the nursing profession-some days are still exhausting while others exhilarating yet...nursing is in my heart. Not everyone can be a nurse... A nurse has certain qualities like compassion, empathy.... a nurse needs to be detail oriented and decisive with a dash of a warped sense of humor that gets us through the day. We are a special breed. We can go hours without a break (often times-a whole shift), take a beating physically & emotionally, and literally can shoot daggers from our eyes when a co-worker says the Q word. We have hectic schedules, deal with code blues & code browns, loosing favorite patients, work holidays and weekends and contemplate calling in every full moon. As they days seem shorter, feel colder and nature shows us hibernation mode it can often be difficult to get out of that warm, comfy bed. As much as I would like to hit the snooze button-ten more times, I have obligations to fill and places to go. It always seems a little more challenging during the winter months to get moving. You know that old saying that indicates one got our of the wrong side of the bed? It can happen to any one of us-any morning, right? I have learned that if I want to have a great day-I need to focus on having a great start to my day. In other words I am in charge of my own attitude-no one else can take that responsibility.
